Ezekiel Ewulo- former gang member
Ezekiel, raised in Brixton, South London, remains in crisis and is plagued by drugs and violent activity. After being a gang member and seeing his close friend detach from the group and lifestyle, Ezekiel decided it was time to change himself as he too left the lifestyle behind in search of a passion for pursuing. Before long, Ezekiel was convinced to try athletics as the coach directed him to the sandpit; Ezekiel gave it his all and discovered a talent he did not know he had. That was the beginning of his journey as a world-class athlete, youth mentor, motivational speaker and programme leader of Sports For Champions’ Anti-Knife Crime Workshop in the United Kingdom.
Sports For Champions employ the inspiring character and success of Ezekiel Ewulo, former Team GB and Nigerian Long Jump athlete. Ezekiel has a powerful and moving story that will be told by himself, sparing no details as he dives into his past life and discusses what choices he made and why he regrets them in this five-session programme.
